STE PROGRAM

The STE (Science, Technology, and Engineering) Program is designed to inspire students through hands-on learning experiences in these dynamic fields. It emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while providing opportunities for students to engage in real-world projects.

WHAT WE OFFER

The STE (Science, Technology, and Engineering) Program offers hands-on learning experiences in dynamic fields. It emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while providing opportunities for students to engage in real-world projects. Through interactive lessons and collaborative activities, the program aims to prepare students for future careers in STEM industries by fostering curiosity and a passion for innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Incoming Grade 7 students from both public and private schools (preferably schools from City of Makati)

  2. Must have achieved the following grades in Grade 6:

    • a.  An average of at least 85% for each quarter

    • b.  At least 88% in English, Mathematics, and Science

    • c.  At least 83% in Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, MAPEH, and other subjects/learning areas

Submission of Application

  1. The filing of application shall start on January 28, 2025, until March 28, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Applicants should apply directly at the Guidance Office of School.

Requirements

The following documents must be submitted before the Admission Test:

  1. Completely filled-out Application Form available at the Guidance Office of Makati High School

  2. Photocopy of parent's identification card (preferably government-issued ID with residential address or proof of billing)

  3. Photocopy of Grade 6 Progress Report Card/SF9

  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character

  5. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate

  6. Original and Photocopy of Certificates of Academic Contests won (earned within SY: 2024-2025)

    Note: All documents must be placed in a long brown envelope.

Admission Test

  1. The qualifying test will be conducted on March 8, 2025 at Makati High School.

  2. The release of Admission Test Result will be on March 10, 2025.

  3. The applicants who will pass the Admission Test shall proceed to the Interview of Passers on March 11-14, 2025, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
